From 2020, research is carried out by the Department of Socio-Economic Geography and the Hydronautic Scientific Circle for Underwater Research, which is based at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, Faculty of Geoengineering, Institute of Spatial Management and Geography.
One of the main objectives of the research is to assess anthropopressure to various natural aquatic ecosystems and the aesthetics of underwater landscapes.
